Saisadhna Social Welfare Foundation is right in the heart of old Delhi, located at 1020 on the first floor in Gali Rajan, Farash Khana. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and lively it can be. Our office is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes where there is always something happening. It’s a bit of a maze to get here the first time, but once you find us, it’s a very welcoming spot. We deal with a lot of social work and the space is always buzzing with people coming in and out. There’s a lot of history in the walls of these buildings in the 110006 area. Our furniture is old and mismatched, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day of work. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around the main table discussing what needs to happen next for our current projects. The sounds of the market outside are always there, from the rickshaws to the street vendors. It’s a real, living environment that keeps us grounded. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time and we don't plan on changing how we do things. It’s just honest effort every day in a part of the city we truly know and care about.
