Sachdeva Scooter Home has been sitting here at Karol Bagh 1133/11 for a long time now. If you walk down the lane, you can usually hear the sound of engines and see us busy with tools. It is a small place but we keep ourselves occupied with whatever scooter work comes through the door. Most days start early before the market gets too crowded. We handle parts and fixing things up when they break. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workshop with some greasy floors and a lot of spare parts stacked on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the traffic outside, but that is just how Karol Bagh is. We know our way around most old and new models. People stop by for small things like a loose brake or something bigger that takes a few days. It is just steady work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have lived around here and know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we drink tea while waiting for a part to arrive. It is a simple life running a shop like this. We try to keep the place organized, but it’s hard when you have so many bits and pieces of metal everywhere. It’s what we do. We show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. No big secrets here, just a lot of mechanical work and talking to the folks who live nearby. It’s been our daily life for years.
