Everyone knows Naiwala is the place to go for bikes, and we’ve been part of that scene for a long time. Sachdeva Motor Cycle Co isn't anything flashy. It’s just a solid workshop where we handle repairs and sell parts. We don't have a big glass front or a sign with neon lights. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years, or their kids who just got their first bike. The floor is concrete and always has a few oil spots, no matter how much we scrub. We have a couple of benches out front where people sit and talk while they wait for their bikes to be ready. It’s a bit of a social club sometimes. We don't use fancy technical words or try to sell you things you don't need. If something is broken, we tell you. If it’s fine, we tell you that too. It’s just me and a couple of guys who really love working on engines. The noise in Karol Bagh never really stops, but you get used to it after the first ten years or so. We keep the shop open pretty late most nights because there’s always one more bike to finish before we head home. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. We’re just local people trying to do a decent job with our hands and a few tools.
