Sachdeva Enterprises (India)

Karol Bagh is always a bit of a madhouse with the traffic and the noise, but we’ve managed to stay put here at 794, Joshi Path. Sachdeva Enterprises (India) is basically a local trading business that’s been around the block a few times. We deal with whatever goods are in demand, mostly just keeping the supply chain moving for our regular customers. Our office isn’t anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s a bit cluttered with samples and old invoices, and the tea guy usually stops by twice a day to keep us going. We don’t have a corporate mission statement or any of that polished talk. We just open the doors in the morning and get to work. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get deliveries out, or the power cuts out just when we’re trying to print something, but that’s just part of living and working in Delhi. We know most of our neighbors by name, and people often just drop by for a quick chat. We don’t spend money on big ads because most people find us through word of mouth anyway. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just try to be fair and keep our word when we say we’ll get something done. There’s no secret to it, just staying busy and making sure the customers aren't left waiting too long for their orders. It's an honest living and it keeps us occupied throughout the day.
