S N Nanda & Co., Chartered Accountants

We’re located over in Pahar Ganj at H No.388 on Street Chandi Wali. It’s a very traditional part of New Delhi, and our office at S N Nanda & Co. fits right in. We’ve been doing chartered accountancy work here for quite some time. The streets outside can be quite narrow and busy, which is just part of living in this city. Inside, we have a lot of books and old ledgers that tell the story of the work we’ve done. We don't try to be something we’re not. We aren't a high-rise corporate firm with expensive art on the walls. Our walls are covered in calendars and charts. Most of the time, we’re just busy checking numbers and making sure the forms are filled out right. People from all over the neighborhood stop by with their documents. We know many of them by name. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way to run a business, but it works for us. We try to be helpful and honest about what needs to be done. Sometimes the work is tedious, but we don't mind it. It’s about making sure our clients are sorted and don't have to worry about the technical details. We just keep things moving along, one file at a time, right here in the middle of Pahar Ganj. We’ve got an old clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loud, but it keeps good time.
