Rohit Auto Agency is over in the Naiwala area of Karol Bagh, at 33/1629. If you know Naiwala, you know it's the heart of the spare parts market. It’s crowded and loud, and there’s always someone honking outside. Our shop is just like the others around here—full of parts, boxes, and people coming in and out. We spend a lot of time just sorting through things. It’s not a glamorous job. We get to work early to beat the worst of the heat and start opening up the crates. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk about the neighborhood. Other days, we can’t even catch our breath. The address, 33/1629, is easy to find if you’re used to these streets. We’ve got shelves that are a bit wobbly, but they hold what they need to. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here. Sometimes we help out the shop next door if they’re short-handed, and they do the same for us. It’s a community of sorts. We just keep the shop running as best we can. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with heavy metal parts. By the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired, but that’s just how life is in Karol Bagh. We close up, head home, and do it all again tomorrow morning when the shutters go up for the day.
