Our office is right in the middle of the New Sabzi Mandi at Azadpur. We are at House Number 515 in Block C. If you have ever been to the Mandi, you know it is one of the busiest places in the whole city. There are trucks coming and going at all hours and the smell of fresh produce is everywhere. It is a loud and chaotic place, but it has a rhythm that we’ve grown used to. Being in Block C means we are slightly away from the heaviest loading areas, but it is still very active. The house itself is a regular Delhi structure. We have our workspace set up on one of the floors and it is packed with papers and computers. We don’t have time for fancy decorations because the work keeps us moving. Often we are shouting over the noise of the market outside just to hear each other. It’s a very practical way to work. You see the real world happening right outside the window every single day. We don’t try to pretend to be a big fancy corporation. We are just a local service business trying to stay organized in the middle of the biggest market in Delhi. It gets dusty and the traffic is a nightmare, but we are here every morning ready to go. It’s a tough place but it’s home for the business.
