Located at Plot No. J-7879 on Arakashan Road, Reliable Engineering Sales And Services is right near the bus stop in Paharganj. Being so close to the bus stop means it’s always busy outside with people coming and going. Inside our place, it’s a different story. We deal with engineering sales and providing services for various types of machinery. The shop floor is always covered in parts and catalogs. We try to keep the dust down, but in Paharganj, that's a losing battle. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who need a specific part that no one else seems to have. We have stacks of manuals that have been around longer than I have. It's a bit cramped in here because we try to keep as much in stock as possible. You might have to step over a crate or two to get to the counter. We don't have a receptionist, so if we're in the back, you might have to shout a bit to get our attention. We’ve been in this spot for years and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. People come to us because they know we've been around and we know our stuff. We don't do any big advertising; the location and the work speak for themselves. It’s a bit gritty and noisy, but it’s our livelihoods and we take it seriously without making any big fuss about it.
