Recycle Aastha Green Foundation

We are Recycle Aastha Green Foundation. Our spot is in Uttam Nagar, specifically over at Plot No. 9 in the R Block Extension of Vani Vihar. We’ve been set up here in West Delhi for a bit. It’s a bit of a crowded area but we like it that way because it keeps us busy. We focus on recycling things and keeping stuff green around here as much as possible. The office is on the second floor, back side of the building. It’s nothing special to look at from the street, just a regular building in the 110059 area. We do our work without making too much noise about it. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of collections. We handle stuff that people throw away or don't want anymore. It’s hard work sometimes and can be quite tiring. The Delhi heat doesn't make it any easier, but we stay at it. We are just a group of people who care about how the neighborhood looks and feels. We don't have a fancy lobby or any expensive branding. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of focus on the environment. Vani Vihar is a good place to be based because it's real. People around here know us by now. We don't go around giving speeches. We just collect what needs to be recycled and hope for the best. It feels good to do something for the earth right from our own street. We are part of the local community and we plan to stay that way for a long time.
