Rachna Opticare

We've been at 11255/29 in Karol Bagh for a good while now. It's a busy spot, always lots of people walking by the shop front. Mostly we just sit here and wait for people who need their eyes checked or a new pair of glasses because they broke their old ones. The shop isn't huge but it fits what we need. We have the frames on the wall and the testing equipment in the back room where it's a bit quieter. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping. My desk is right near the door so I see everything happening on the street. We keep the place tidy, though the dust from the road always finds a way in. People come in and try on different styles, and we just help them find something that doesn't slide off their nose. It's a regular job, really. We open up in the morning, clean the glass cases, and start the day. Most of our regulars live right here in the neighborhood so we know a lot of the faces. It feels like a part of the local community. There’s no big fancy signs, just the name Rachna Opticare on the front. We do our work, fix up the lenses, and make sure the frames fit right before people head back out into the Karol Bagh heat. It's simple work but someone has to do it. It’s just what we do every single day.
