My office is located at 5-C/39 on New Rohtak Road in Karol Bagh. If you know where Liberty Cinema is, I’m right in that vicinity. Karol Bagh is always a whirlwind of activity, with cars and people everywhere, so it’s a very lively place to be. My space is pretty straightforward. I’ve got my gear stored in cupboards and a big monitor for when I’m editing shots. It’s not a polished gallery or anything. It’s a working studio. There are usually some tripods standing in the corner and maybe some prints from a recent job lying on the table. The noise from Rohtak Road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. I’ve been doing photography from this spot for some time now. It’s a good location because it’s so central. Clients usually find it easy to get here, even if the traffic is a bit much. I handle everything myself, from taking the photos to doing the final touch-ups. It’s a one-man show for the most part. I don’t believe in having a lot of fluff around. I just want a place where I can work on my projects and store my equipment safely. The building is older, but it has character. I like being near the cinema because it makes the directions easy for everyone. It’s just me and my cameras here most days.
