R M Auto Components

If you go down Gali No 10 in Anand Parbat, you'll find us at KNG-10. This is R M Auto Components. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. Our shop is right in the middle of that noise. We deal with various auto components, mostly small parts that go into bigger machines. The air here always feels a bit heavy with the smell of grease and iron. Our space isn't very big, so we have to be clever about how we stack the crates. It's an old building and the walls are a bit stained from years of handling oily parts. We don't have a showroom or a fancy sign. Most of our work is done in the back or right at the counter where we hand over parts to the mechanics who come in. We've been in this alley for a long time and we know all the other shop owners nearby. Sometimes we help each other out when someone is short on stock. It is a rough and tumble kind of place, but it’s honest work. We start early when the trucks arrive and we don't finish until the last order is packed. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, but we don't mind the grime. We keep a small radio playing to help pass the time during the long afternoons.
