R. K. Radiators

If you head down to the Gokhale Market area near the Tis Hazari Court, you will find our shop, R. K. Radiators, at number 72. It is a very crowded and noisy part of town. There are cars, rickshaws, and people everywhere, and the sound of horns never really stops from morning until evening. We deal with radiators all day long. It is a pretty messy job because you are constantly dealing with old coolant, rust, and leaks that have been building up for years. My family has been in this market for a long time now. Our shop is quite small, so we have to stack our stock of cores and tanks all the way up to the ceiling. You have to be careful where you step when you come inside because there is always something on the floor. We spend most of our time testing for leaks in these big water tubs we have set up. It makes the air in the shop feel very humid and damp. We see all kinds of customers, from taxi drivers who are in a huge hurry to truck owners who have come from far away. We do not have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People usually just stand out on the pavement or sit on a plastic stool while we take a look at their radiator. It is just an honest, practical way to make a living. We know these parts very well. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we just have to tell the customer how it is.
