Qequal Foundation

Qequal Foundation is located at A-107/B on the ground floor right in Sharma Market in Pulpehlad Pur. It is a very busy part of New Delhi, and being situated right in the market means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our door. We like being on the ground floor because it is much easier for people to just walk in without having to deal with steep stairs. The space inside is a bit small, but it fits exactly what we need for our daily tasks. We do a lot of community-based work here. Most of the time, the main desk is completely covered in documents and the phone just keeps on ringing. We do not have a huge team, just a few of us who know the local area really well. Sharma Market has almost everything, so it is a very convenient spot for us to be based out of. We have been here for a long time and the foundation basically runs out of this one single room. It is not fancy at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of white paint, and the chairs are getting a bit old now, but they still work fine for us. We spend our days coordinating different projects and talking to the people who live in the streets nearby. It is a real place with real people doing work. We do not have any polished speeches. We just explain things simply to anyone who asks.
