Purneema General Store

Purneema General Store is located at 61 D in Ghaffer Market, which is part of the very busy Karol Bagh area in Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and loud Ghaffer Market can be with all the electronics and small shops everywhere. Our store is right in the middle of all that chaos. We sell a variety of general items that people might need while they are out shopping or just living in the neighborhood. The space is quite small, but we use every inch of the walls to hang things and stack products. It’s a constant struggle to keep everything organized when there are so many different items to manage. Most days I’m just busy dealing with the foot traffic and making sure we don't run out of the things people ask for most. The heat in Delhi can be quite tough, especially in a crowded market like this, but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the market change over the years, but the store stays pretty much the same. People come in for something quick, and I do my best to find it in the piles of stock we have. It’s just a normal shop in a very busy part of the city, and we just keep at it day after day. It gets tiring but it is what we do.
