Poonam Exports

We operate out of 4593/1 in the Main Bazar area of Pharganj. It’s a very busy street and we’ve been here for quite a while now. Being in Main Bazar means there is never a dull moment. Poonam Exports is tucked away in this building and we have our routine down pretty well. Most mornings start with checking what needs to go out. We deal with a lot of boxes and shipping labels. It can get a bit messy with all the packing material lying around but we clean up when we can. The space at 4593/1 is just enough for what we need to do. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just an office and a storage area where we get things done. Pharganj is always full of people so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have to time it right with the delivery trucks. The staff here is just a few local people who know the area well. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of notebooks and lists. It’s hard work but it keeps us going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We’re more focused on the orders. It’s a straightforward life at Poonam Exports and we like it that way.
