Pelikan Auto Industries

Our workshop is located in the Central Market area of Prashant Vihar, specifically in Block D. It’s a noisy part of the neighborhood because of all the shops and the people moving around, but it suits what we do just fine. We work on auto parts, mostly focusing on industrial pieces that go into cars and other vehicles. The shop is filled with the smell of oil and the sound of metal being worked on. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt because you’re bound to get a grease stain on it within five minutes. We’ve got a couple of old lathes and some newer machines that we use every day. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I finished school. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on making sure the parts we produce are the right size and don't break under pressure. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and we just order some food from the stall across the street. Our customers are mostly other businesses who need reliable components. We talk to them plainly and don't make promises we can't keep. It’s a small operation, but we take pride in the fact that we know our trade inside and out. Just a regular industrial shop in a busy market.
