Onjuli Trading Company

Karol Bagh is always a bit of a mess with the traffic and the crowds, especially near the Fire Brigade Station. We are tucked away in Shidipura at No. 8892/14B. It is a busy little street with a lot of movement. Onjuli Trading Company has been here for a while now. The space isn't very large, so we have boxes stacked almost to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't know where everything is kept. We trade all sorts of stuff, and the inventory changes depending on what is moving that month. The noise from the fire engines can be quite a lot sometimes, but you stop noticing it after a week or two. We have an old ceiling fan that squeaks constantly, but it keeps the air moving in the summer. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop in from the neighborhood. It is definitely not a corporate setup. We usually eat lunch together in the back room among the boxes and inventory. Parking is almost impossible on our road, so we tell everyone to come by rickshaw or walk if they can. The shop gets a bit dark in the late afternoon, but we have some bright lights over the main counter. We don't have a fancy website or any big marketing. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the counts are right. It’s just simple trading and staying busy in the heart of Delhi.
