Our workshop is in Karol Bagh on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, at number 1037/17. If you know Karol Bagh, you know it's the heart of the auto world here. There is always the smell of grease and metal in the air. We have been working with auto parts for a long time now. The walls are stained with oil and there are heavy machines taking up most of the floor space. We don't have a lobby or a waiting room, just the shop floor. It’s a loud place with all the hammering and the sound of engines. We wear overalls that never stay clean for more than an hour. My hands are usually covered in soot by midday. We make parts that go into cars and bikes. It’s hard work and the days are long. Sometimes we have to hunt through a pile of metal to find the right tool. The street outside is always blocked with motorcycles and delivery vans. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the invoices, but it’s mostly covered in spare bolts. We aren't fancy people.
