You can find us at 47 Rani Jhansi Road. We have been making and selling furniture from this spot for a very long time. Our workshop is located right at the back of the property, and that is where the real noise happens. If you walk into the building, you will probably smell the sawdust and the varnish we use before you see anything else. We have stacks of different types of wood leaning against the walls and tools lying around on the workbenches. It is a very hands-on place, and our clothes are almost always covered in a fine layer of dust by the end of the day. The front section of the shop has a few finished pieces on display, but it is not a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who know they can just come in and ask us to fix something or make a new table. Sometimes the sound of the electric saws is so loud that we can't hear the phone ringing in the office. We don't have any corporate uniforms or polished sales pitches. We just focus on cutting the wood and putting the pieces together so they last. The road outside is always roaring with traffic, but we stay busy with our hammers and glue. It is a simple, honest trade that keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
