Nath Printing Works

We’ve been here at Upper Anand Parbat for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the junior wing of Ramjas School. You can usually hear the machines running if the windows are open. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the school kids are arriving and we are just getting the first batches of paper sorted out. The shop isn’t anything fancy. It’s a practical space with stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of ink that never really goes away. We spend most of the day just making sure the print runs look right and the cutters are working. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things go around here. The building at number 21 has seen a lot of years. It’s got that old Delhi feel to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. Usually, it's just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. If you walk past the school gates, you’ll find us pretty easily. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the usual noise of a printing press doing its thing. It’s a bit of a walk up if you’re coming from the main road, but the neighborhood is lively enough. We just try to get the jobs done before the day ends.
