Nanak Sewa Foundation

We are located in Vishnu Garden, right near Vandana School. Our office is on the top floor of Plot Number 40 in Navyug Block. It’s WZ 1657 B if you are looking at the house numbers. Nanak Sewa Foundation isn't a big organization with lots of money. It’s just a few of us who wanted to do something for the people living nearby. The stairs are a bit steep, but we’ve been here a while and are used to it. Most of what we do is just practical help. If someone is struggling with their bills or needs a hand with something basic, they know they can come up and talk to us. We don't have a fancy reception or a secretary. You just walk in and we see what’s going on. The school nearby makes the area very lively during the day, which we quite like. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just take things as they come. Sometimes we are out all day helping someone at the hospital or the local government office. Other days we just sit and plan for the next week. It’s a very local thing, and we like it that way. We don’t advertise much because word of mouth works better in this neighborhood anyway. Everyone knows where we are if they really need us. It’s simple, no-nonsense work that helps our neighbors get by.
