Our office for Modular Infratech Pvt Ltd is on the second floor of building 268 in the Lodhi Colony area, near Masjid Moth. It’s quite close to Gulmohar Park, which is a nice landmark to have. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. We work on infrastructure projects here. It involves a lot of sitting at computers and looking at designs. The room we have is okay, nothing special but it’s got enough space for our equipment. We like the area because it’s got a bit of history to it. You can see some of the old trees from our window. It gets a bit hot in the summer months since we are on the top floor, but the fans do their job. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us trying to do good work. We keep our files organized in these old metal cabinets. Most of our day is spent coordinating with people on different project sites. We usually order lunch from one of the small places nearby. It’s a quiet routine we have. We don’t put on any acts for visitors; we just show them what we are working on. The office at 268 Lodhi Colony is where we feel most productive. It’s a practical space for practical people. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and it suits us fine.
