Working out of Karol Bagh on Hardhian Singh Road means dealing with a lot of noise and people all the time. Our place, Modern, is located at number 2870. It’s not a huge space, but it fits everything we need to get through the workday. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and honestly, the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Business is steady, mostly because people in this part of Delhi are always looking for something. We don't try to be something we aren't. It's just a shop where we sell what we have and try to be fair about it. Some mornings are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the back room or grab a tea from the guy down the street. Then the afternoon rush hits and things get a bit chaotic with everyone asking for things at once. That’s just how it goes here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. It’s just us, the inventory, and the customers who walk through the door. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork or forget to order something on time, but we usually sort it out eventually. If you walk down Hardhian Singh Road, you’ll see our sign hanging there. It’s been there long enough that most of the paint has faded from the sun. We just keep showing up and doing the work.
