Modern Packaging

Modern Packaging sits in the Flatted Factory Complex over in Jhandewalan. It’s a busy place with lots of other small units around us, so it’s rarely quiet. You can hear the sounds of machines and people working from early morning until late. We deal with all kinds of packaging materials like cardboard and paper sheets. The space we have at C-3 is usually full of rolls and various materials. We don't have much room for fancy decorations or a proper lobby. We’ve been at this for quite some time now. The name might sound like something new, but we’ve seen a lot of changes in this industry over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and making sure the machines are running the way they should. Sometimes they break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting our hands dirty to fix them. It’s just part of the job. Jhandewalan is a very central spot, so we get people coming from all over Delhi. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to finish the orders on time and not have too many mistakes. Our staff is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. It’s a tight space, so you really have to get along with everyone. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the jobs we have to finish. It’s a simple life.
