Ministry Of Defence

We are located at Kashmir House in New Delhi, working within the Director E In C Branch of the Ministry Of Defence. This building has a lot of history to it, and you can feel that when you walk through the hallways. It is a very busy hub with people constantly moving between offices and carrying files. Our specific section handles a lot of the engineering and coordination work. The desks are usually covered in drawings, maps, and reports. It is not the kind of place where you will find modern decor or open-plan lounges. Everything is quite traditional and functional. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings, trying to get projects moved along. The parking around here can be a real headache, so most of us try to arrive early in the morning. Being in the heart of Delhi means we are close to all the other government buildings, which helps when we need to drop off documents. The atmosphere is serious but we still have a laugh during lunch breaks. We have got a canteen nearby that serves decent food, which is where you will find us most afternoons. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes the paperwork feels slow, but we just keep at it. We are just a team of staff members making sure the engineering side of the ministry runs as it should. There is always something to fix or a new plan to review.
