Meral Foundation

We are at G-824/4 in Sukhdev Nagar. It’s a busy part of Kotla Mubarakpur. If you know the area, it’s mostly narrow lanes and a lot of small shops. Our spot is on the third floor of property number fifteen. Getting things up the stairs is a bit of a workout every day but we like the view of the roofs from up here. New Delhi is always noisy and this part of Delhi 110003 is no different. You can hear the traffic and the street sellers all the time. The building is older, just a regular brick place, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time here just getting through our daily tasks. It’s a tight space but it works for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat and we just sit and wait. It’s just us, working away in a small office. We’ve been here for a while now. The neighborhood knows us. It isn't a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's just a room with desks and some chairs. We try to keep it organized but papers always end up everywhere. People walk by on the street below and life just moves on. We just stay focused on our work here in Kotla Mubarakpur. It is what it is, a small team in a crowded city trying to do their bit.
