Our office is in Krishna Niketan, right near Delhi Gate. It’s an old building with a lot of character, which basically means the stairs are a bit steep and the walls are thick. Being near Delhi Gate means we’re right in the middle of everything. You can hear the traffic and the horns all day long, but inside the office, it’s a different world of files and paperwork. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. The rooms are filled with steel cupboards that are probably older than some of the staff. We don't have a modern open-plan layout; it’s more about little corners and desks squeezed into available spots. There’s always a stack of files that needs sorting, and the printer usually jams at least once a day. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their desk and ask what you need. It’s a very hands-on environment. We deal with a lot of details every day, and it can get a bit overwhelming when several things happen at once. But we’ve got a routine that works for us. We eat lunch together most days, usually something brought from home. It’s a small, tight-knit group of people just trying to keep the work moving in a busy part of the city.
