Meerabai Women Welfare Foundation

We’re situated at B2C-25B on the first floor in Janakpuri, right near Delhi Haat. It’s a good location because everyone knows where the Haat is, so we never have to give long directions. Meerabai Women Welfare Foundation runs its operations from this small space. Being on the first floor, we have a little bit of a view of the street below. Janakpuri is a busy residential and commercial area, so there’s a lot of life around us all day. Our office is pretty simple. We have some basic furniture and a few computers that we’ve had for years. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we don't have any flashy signs or glossy brochures. We just do our work and talk to the people who come by to see us. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much. We have a small kitchen area where we make our tea and lunch. It feels more like a home than a cold, corporate office. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big buzzwords to describe ourselves. We just want to help out where we can. Most of us have been here for a while, so we know how things work. We keep things straightforward and honest. If you’re looking for us, we’re just a short walk from the main gate of the Haat. It’s a practical place for us to be based in South Delhi. It suits our needs perfectly.
