Our office is on the ninth floor of the Akashdeep Building, which is one of those tall ones on Barakhamba Road. If you know Connaught Place, you know it’s always a bit of a mess with the traffic and the metro station right there. Being at 901 gives us a bit of a view, though mostly we just see other buildings. MCC Developers Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a while. It’s a busy office. There’s always someone coming in or out, and the elevators can be a real pain during lunch hour when everyone is trying to go down at the same time. We do a lot of work related to building and development, which means there are always maps and big rolls of paper everywhere. It’s not a super polished place. We have stacks of files and desks that have seen better days. But it works for what we do. Being near the Barakhamba Road metro station is helpful because half our staff takes the train to work. It saves a lot of trouble with parking. We don’t really do big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Most of our projects come from people we’ve known for years. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a very busy part of Delhi. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Connaught Place has a way of making you feel like you're in the center of everything.
