Our place is in Anand Parbat, specifically at B 1/1 on Lane Number 4. It is an industrial area where everyone is busy making things from morning to night. We focus on auto parts and have been in this particular lane for a good while now. The shop is not very large, but we try to utilize every inch of the walls for storage. We have stacks of boxes reaching almost to the ceiling. It is mostly metal parts for various types of vehicles. The air inside always smells like oil and cut iron. We get deliveries of raw materials a few times every week and that always blocks the narrow lane for a bit. Our neighbors are also in the same line of work, so we often borrow tools or help each other move heavy stuff. There is a small, cluttered desk near the entrance where we handle all the billing and phone calls. The phone rings quite a lot with people asking if we have a specific part in stock. We do not have any office assistants, it is just us doing all the work. Sometimes we stay late into the evening to finish an order that needs to go out the next morning. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy crates around the floor. The old fan in the corner barely helps during the peak of the summer heat, but we keep the main door wide open for a breeze. People come to us because they know we are here.
