Mamta Sagar Foundation

Mamta Sagar Foundation is based in Nehru Vihar, specifically at shop number 80 on the second floor of the Vardhman Mall. It’s an LSC shopping center, so there are always people coming and going. Being in a mall is interesting because we see all kinds of shoppers and local residents throughout the day. Our space on the second floor is a bit more tucked away, which is nice when we need to focus on our paperwork. It’s a simple shop that we’ve turned into an office area. We have some basic furniture and shelves to keep everything organized. Nehru Vihar is a place with a lot of energy, mostly because of the students living around here. We don’t really have a marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find out about us by seeing our sign when they’re out doing their shopping. We spend a lot of time talking to visitors who drop in to ask about our work. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes the mall can get a bit loud on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a good place to get things done. We focus on our daily tasks and try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who comes by. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s just us doing what we can from a small shop in 110054.
