Our office is in Karol Bagh, specifically at 405, Suchet Chambers on Pyare Lal Road. If you know Naiwala, you know how crowded it gets around here. Madhav Forgings (P) Ltd. is tucked away inside the building. It’s a bit of a climb or a wait for the lift sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with paperwork and blueprints for different forging jobs. We don't do the actual forging right here in the office, obviously. This is where we handle the orders, the planning, and all the back-and-forth with the factory. It’s often noisy outside with the bikes and the market, but we’ve gotten used to it. The team here is small. We’ve worked together for years, so we don't need many meetings to know what's going on. We drink a lot of coffee and spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a practical life. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the numbers right and make sure the deliveries happen when they’re supposed to. Karol Bagh is a hectic place to be, but it’s where we’ve always been. It’s a bit cramped in the office when everyone is in, but it works for us and the way we do things.
