Living Hope Foundation

Living Hope Foundation is situated at B 187 in Meet Nagar. This is in the North East part of Delhi, with the pin code 110093. The building itself is a standard house structure where we have taken up a bit of space for our work. Meet Nagar is a crowded area, and our street is no different from the rest. You see kids playing outside and people going about their daily chores all day long. Our office is quite plain and simple. We have some basic furniture and a small corner where we can make tea or heat up some food. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really found the time to get around to it yet. It’s a lived-in space that feels comfortable enough for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to people who walk in from the surrounding neighborhood. Being in North East Delhi means we are a bit far from the main city center, but this is where the work needs to happen. The electricity can be a bit temperamental, especially during the monsoon season when the storms hit. We have a small backup system, but it doesn't always last as long as we need. We don't really mind the simple conditions. It just makes us feel more connected to the people living here.
