Little Sherlocks Foundation

Little Sherlocks Foundation is tucked away in Village Shadi Khampur. Our place is on the ground floor of House No 2375/1A, right in Mandir Wali Gali. It’s a traditional kind of area, very different from the modern parts of New Delhi. You’ve got the temple nearby, so there’s always people walking by and the sound of bells. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren’t used to the village lanes, but that’s the charm of it. We like being on the ground floor because people can just poke their heads in. We aren't some distant group behind a desk. We're right there on the street level. The office is small and filled with stuff we’ve gathered over time. It’s not minimal or stylish, it’s just functional. We started this in Shadi Khampur because this is where we live and breathe. There’s a lot of history in these narrow streets. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. It's a very human way of doing things. We have our good days and our slow days. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside and talk. That’s life here in 110008. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just doing what we can from our little corner in the Gali. It’s a bit crowded, and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it feels right for us. We're just glad to have a place to work.
