Lightsense Art Foundation

You can find us in Laxmi Nagar, specifically over at House D-197 on the first floor of Street Number 9. It’s a typical East Delhi street, always full of energy and people moving about. We go by Lightsense Art Foundation. We aren't a gallery or anything like that, just a group of people interested in the arts and how they fit into our daily lives. The space we have is small, and we’ve mostly filled it with books and some supplies we’ve gathered over time. We started this because we felt like art gets overlooked in the rush of the city. We don't have a fancy manifesto. Mostly, we just sit around the table and figure out how to get more people involved in creative stuff. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on our work. Living and working in 110092 means being part of a tight-knit community. We know the shopkeepers on the street and they know us. We aren't looking for fame or anything. We just want to keep doing what we're doing from our first-floor office. Sometimes we host small gatherings, though it's a bit of a squeeze. There’s always someone stopping by to chat or share an idea. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we're not. We’re just folks in Laxmi Nagar who think art matters. It’s a practical, everyday sort of thing for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
