Lakshmi Bearings

Lakshmi Bearings is located on Malwa Street in the middle of Karol Bagh. If you know the Hari Singh building, we are right there at 1517-31. It is a very busy street. There are always trucks loading and unloading things nearby. Our shop is full of boxes. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because there are so many bearings everywhere. We’ve been here for a long time. People come in and ask for specific sizes and we dig them out. It’s a dusty job but someone has to do it. We don't have a shiny showroom. It's more like a warehouse where we also talk to customers. My cousin helps me with the accounts. We use a lot of grease and the floors usually have some marks on them. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather just have the parts people need. Karol Bagh can be a headache with all the noise, but we are used to it by now. We close up around 7 or 8 depending on the day. We don't have a website that does much; people usually just call or walk in. We know our regulars by name. It’s a simple way of doing business that works for us. We just keep track of what comes in and what goes out. It is a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps us busy.
