G. M. Overseas

At G. M. Overseas, we are located at No. 5588 Lahori Gate, Naya Bazar. It is a very busy spot in the city. There are always bags being moved and people shouting to get through the crowd. Our place is tucked away at that address, and it isn't always easy to find if you are new to the area. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and piles of stuff we need to sort through. We don't really do much decorating because there isn't any time for that. Most of the day is spent on the phone or talking to the guys who bring the supplies. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Lahori Gate has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk around. We’ve been at No. 5588 for a good while, so we know the rhythm of the market. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street outside a bit messy, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. It’s a practical place for practical work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the day goes smoothly. It’s just us, working hard in a noisy part of town, doing what G. M. Overseas has always done since we first set up our desks here.
