If you ever walk down Lane No.48 in the Anand Parabat Industrial Area, you’ll find us at A-12. Kirana Auto Industries is one of those places that has been part of the local scenery for a long time. It’s crowded around here, with trucks coming in and out, but we managed to carve out our own space for the auto work we do. We mostly deal with the greasy, hands-on stuff that goes into keeping vehicles running or making parts that actually fit right. There’s no big reception desk or air-conditioned lobby here. You just walk in and find someone with grease on their hands to talk to. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the way we handle our shop stays mostly the same. We use the same reliable machines we’ve had for years because they still do the job better than some of the newer stuff. Every day is about checking tolerances and making sure the metal behaves like it’s supposed to. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to get out, and other times we’re just doing routine maintenance on our own gear. It isn’t glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do. Being in Anand Parabat means you learn to work fast and stay practical. We just want to do the work and get it delivered so the customer can get on with their day. It’s a busy life, but we like being right in the middle of it.
