Khurana Store

Khurana Store has been at 113 DB Gupta Market in Karol Bagh for as long as I can remember. This market is always packed with people, and our shop is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things all the way up to the ceiling to make everything fit. If you come in, you might have to squeeze past a few boxes. It’s just the way it is here. My family runs the place, and we are usually here from early morning until the shutters go down late at night. We know most of the people who walk by because they’ve been living in Karol Bagh for years too. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when too many customers come in at once, and we have to scramble to find what they need. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that hum all day long. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. We sell the usual things you’d expect from a local store. It’s not a fancy shopping experience, but we try to be helpful when someone is looking for something specific. Most of our days are spent checking stock and talking to the neighbors. It’s a simple life and the business keeps us going. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. We just keep doing our thing.
