Kcac Foundation

KCAC Foundation is situated at F-3/1 in Sangam Vihar, which is down in South Delhi. If you know Sangam Vihar, you know it’s a packed area with narrow lanes and lots of energy. We operate out of this small building right in the thick of things. It’s a humble place, just like the neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign or any flashing lights. People usually find us by word of mouth. We’ve been here in New Delhi for a bit, trying to do our part. The work we do is pretty straightforward. We look at the problems people in Sangam Vihar are facing and we try to find ways to help. Sometimes that means organizing a small event or just helping a neighbor with a difficult task. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a group of us who live nearby and care about what happens on our street. Our office is often messy with stacks of papers and people coming in to chat. We don't mind. It feels more like a community center than a formal foundation. We don't have a lot of money, so we have to be smart about how we spend every rupee. It’s practical, everyday work. We aren't interested in being the biggest foundation, just one that actually does something for the people in South Delhi.
