We’ve been situated in Connaught Place at B-45/47 for a long time. If you know Delhi, you know CP is the place to be, though the parking is always a headache. Our shop isn't one of those modern, glass-everything stores. It has a bit more character than that. We are jewellers, so we spend our days looking at gold, silver, and stones. People come to us for all sorts of reasons, like weddings or just wanting something nice for themselves. We try to keep it simple. We show you what we have, we tell you the price, and we talk. There’s a lot of talking in this business. We know many of our customers by name because their parents used to come here too. It’s a family business at its heart. The shop gets a bit crowded on the weekends when everyone is out in the inner circle. We have our regulars who just drop by to say hello or get a ring cleaned. We don't go in for all the high-pressure sales tactics you see in the malls. That’s just not how we do things at Kapur Bhai Jewellers. We like the history of this place and the fact that we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and it seems to work for the people who visit us. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, year after year, without making much of a scene.
