Kalyankari Welfare Foundation

Kalyankari Welfare Foundation is based out of Flat No 2 at 59/7 in the B1 Extension of Sewak Park. We’re right here in Uttam Nagar, which is a place that never really sleeps. The office is inside a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We like it that way. It keeps things relaxed. People can come in and they don't feel like they are in some cold, professional environment. We have a lot of neighbors who stop by just to say hello or ask for help with small things. Our daily routine involves a lot of community coordination. We spend time looking at what the local families need and seeing if we can pull together enough to help out. It’s often a struggle to find enough funds or hands to do everything we want to do. We aren't some big-name charity. We are just a few people from Sewak Park who wanted to do something useful. The rooms are a bit cramped with boxes and old records, but we know where everything is. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just honest work for the people around us. Some weeks are harder than others, and sometimes we wonder if we’re doing enough. But then someone walks in and we just get back to it. That’s life at Kalyankari.
