If you're looking for Jainson Enterprises, you’ll find us at 8898 in the Shidipura area of Karol Bagh. It’s a solid old building that has been around for quite some time. The neighborhood is very industrial and busy, so there’s always a lot of activity right outside the entrance. Our office is on a floor that requires climbing some fairly steep stairs. Once you’re inside, it’s a pretty basic setup. We have some heavy wooden desks and metal filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use. The walls have a few old calendars hanging on them and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast. We don't have a fancy waiting area or leather sofas. It’s just a place of work. The windows look out over the rooftops of other shops and you can see the laundry hanging out to dry sometimes. We spend most of our day here, answering the phone and writing things down in ledgers. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, but we try to keep the desks clear. The tea we get from the stall downstairs is probably the best part of the afternoon. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of Karol Bagh just feel like background noise now and we don't even notice the chaos outside.
