Karol Bagh is known for being one of the busiest trading hubs in New Delhi, and Nai Walan is right in the thick of it. The streets are always packed with scooters and people carrying boxes. Getting up to the third floor is our daily exercise since the stairs are a bit narrow. Once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. We have a small office where we manage our trading activities. It’s not a fancy place with partitions and air conditioning in every corner, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking prices. The heat in the summer can be tough, but we have our fans and plenty of cold water. We like being in Karol Bagh because everything we need is just a few steps away. Whether it’s a courier service or a stationery shop, it’s all right there.
