A good landmark to look for is the Ghanta Ghar, because we are quite near that spot. The streets around here are narrow and always full of people, bikes, and carts, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting to the door. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a regular room where we sit and handle the foundation's business. We mostly focus on community stuff here in New Delhi, especially for the folks living nearby who might need a hand with various things. Sometimes people just walk in off the street to ask questions, and we try to help them out as best as we can with what we have. The office gets a lot of light in the morning, which is nice, but it also means it gets pretty hot by midday. We keep a lot of records in big metal cupboards, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority right now. There’s always someone drinking tea and discussing what needs to be done next for the neighborhood. It’s just how we operate daily, without much fuss or bother, trying to stay organized in the middle of a very busy area.
