We've been at 702 Rohit House for quite a while now. Tolstoy Marg is always noisy with traffic, but once you get up to the seventh floor, it's a bit quieter. Being in CP makes things easier for people to find us, even if parking is a nightmare around here. Usually, someone is at the desk from early morning, just answering calls about bus trips or flight bookings. It's a regular office space, nothing fancy. We have some old maps on the wall and stacks of files that probably need organizing. We deal with ticketing and general travel stuff. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow or stops working, but we’ve gotten used to taking the stairs. The tea stall right downstairs is where we usually get our morning chai before the phones start ringing. It's just a workspace where we try to get things sorted for people traveling out of Delhi. We've seen this part of CP change quite a bit over the years. Some days are really hectic with walk-ins, other days it's just the sound of us typing. We handle domestic routes and some international stuff too. It's mostly about keeping track of schedules and changing prices. If you walk down from the Barakhamba metro, it’s not too far. We don't have a big reception area, just our desks and a few chairs for visitors. Most of our day is spent looking at computer screens. It’s what we do here every day.
