Our office for Indian Merchandise Corporation is at 4222-1, Laxmi Kunj, located on 1 Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. This is a very old part of Delhi and it has a lot of history behind it. The building is an old one, which means the rooms are a bit small and the stairs are quite narrow. We deal with all kinds of merchandise here on a daily basis. Most of our work is wholesale, so we see many boxes coming in and going out every single day. Ansari Road is famous for being a hub of activity, especially with all the book shops in the area. We don't have a big sign or a flashy front to attract people. You just have to know where Laxmi Kunj is and walk inside the building. The office is usually cluttered with samples and old ledgers from years gone by. We still like doing things the old-fashioned way. We talk to people face to face or over a quick phone call. Our staff has been here for a long time and we are more like a small family. Darya Ganj traffic is legendary, so we try to get our loading done very early in the morning. It’s a busy life but we are used to the noise of the market. We aren't trying to be a massive corporation. We just provide goods and keep things running year after year. It's a simple approach but it works for us.
