India Tours & Taxi Services has an office over at 9A/1 in Karol Bagh, right in the middle of Channa Market. It’s a very noisy and crowded part of the city, which is good for business because there are always people looking for a ride. We have a small fleet of cars and a few drivers who have been with us for years. We mostly arrange trips for people wanting to see the local sights or those who need a reliable way to get to the airport. The office is really just one room with a couple of chairs for people to wait in and a desk where we keep the logs. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and checking on the traffic. Sometimes a car breaks down or a driver gets stuck in a jam, and we have to scramble to find a replacement. That’s just the way it goes in this business. We don't have any glossy brochures or a professional marketing team. Usually, people find us because they saw our sign while shopping in the market or someone told them we were okay. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the other shop owners nearby while waiting for the next booking. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we’ve been at it for a long time now.
