We are located at 13, Arp Motia Khan, right in the Pahar Ganj area of New Delhi. If you’ve ever walked through Pahar Ganj, you know it’s a whirlwind of people, rickshaws, and shops. Our spot for the India Today Group is right in the thick of it. It’s a busy building and there’s always something going on. We don’t have one of those quiet, secluded offices with soundproof glass. You can hear the city humming outside all day long. Inside, it’s a mix of old and new. We have some modern equipment but the building itself has a lot of character and some creaky floors. We have desks crammed into corners and stacks of papers everywhere you look. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s how we like it. It feels like real work is happening. We don’t spend much time on the decor. Most of the walls are covered in old posters or notes scribbled on pieces of paper. We drink a lot of tea to keep us going through the long shifts. People are always running in and out, trying to meet deadlines or catch someone for a quick word. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a zen garden or a lounge area. It’s a functional, somewhat messy space where we get the job done. Being in Pahar Ganj means we are close to everything, even if the streets are a bit narrow and loud. It’s a classic Delhi office experience. We just keep moving with the city.
